In keeping with
our corporate goal of saving our customers
money, ISSI has initiated a $AVE program
designed to document and record customer
savings.
Since we
initiated this program in mid 2004 we have
documented over $27.2 Million in customer
approved $AVEs. Talk to your ISSI
representative to see what we've saved you.
We document 6 types of
$AVEs for our customers:
Price
We provide
you with the same or a like product, with the
same quality, the same expected life, and the
same output per unit (holes per drill) at a
lower price.
Application
We provide
you with a lower cost per output (for example,
the cost of drilling each hole in a mountain or
in a piece of metal is reduced). The New Price
of the product may be higher or lower, the
Annual Use may change, set-up cost may have to
be considered, but the result is that the cost
of each output unit is less.
Process
We lower your
process costs. Your processes are simplified;
therefore time is saved. This is usually
associated with personnel cost reductions.
These savings usually result from automation,
single sourcing, consolidated invoicing, and
restructuring process flows (for example,
reducing POs and verifying packing slips to POs
and invoices).
Inventory
We help you
reduce your inventory or avoid increasing your
inventory.
Service/Production
We provide
you with a service or product that results in a
cost savings or results in increased production
or reduced production down time.
Freight
We made a delivery
not on one of our own trucks and incurred
freight charges that were not charged to the
customer.
